CLOSER TO HOME: Carol Vorderman reconnects with North Welsh roots in new TV series
In a new BBC series, Carol Voderman rediscovers her welsh roots, by visiting the places where she grew up in North wales.
The series follows Carol on a road trip around the region, including parts of Conwy and Denbighshire and begins in her hometown Prestatyn.
She reflects on her childhood, family and how the roles of women have changed.
Carol said: “My heart is here in Wales. I love travelling around and capturing every moment. In this series, I’ll be reconnecting with the place where I grew up; north Wales. I’m kicking off the first part of my journey on the beautiful coastline of north east Wales. I’m heading to Denbighshire, travelling from Prestatyn to Conwy, retracing my past.
“I’ll be exploring the places and the stories that have shaped my life and the lives of many others as I get closer to home.”
