Captain America has been roaming the villages of North Wales again!

He strolls the streets of Wrexham, Gresford and Marford to continue to reassure the public and brighten children’s days.

Disguised in this fabulous costume is Damien Hughes from Gresford and he aims to lift the spirits of his local community.

His love for imitating the American Superhero began in 2019 when a group of friends attended a sci-fi convention and Damien arrived as Captain America.

Now he uses the costume as a reason to train and gain muscle to totally ‘look the part’.

He posts in local community groups online to spark interest and to update the families of where he is heading. On his journeys he has been met with some amazing reactions.

Children truly believe him to be a real superhero!
