Cymru will face Canada (Friday 9 April) and Denmark (Monday 13 April) in two home matches as part
of preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Round.

It will be the second time Cymru have faced either side, having played Canada, who are ranked 8 th in
the world, in the 2002 Algarve Cup and Denmark (ranked 14 th ) in a friendly tournament in 2011.

The match against the Danes will see Cymru return to the Cardiff City Stadium after facing Norway there
last October, while the venue for the Canada match will be announced in due course.

The matches will be a key part of Cymru’s preparation for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup
Qualifying Round. The draw for the qualifiers will take place on Friday 30 April.

The kick-off times for the fixtures will be confirmed in due course. Both matches will be played
behind closed doors due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
