NEWS ROUNDUP: Non essential aisles allowed and a walrus in West Wales
New changes to lockdown now mean that supermarkets can sell non-essential items and garden centres can open back up in Wales. Shops of course have already been open but certain sections have been cordoned off. The new change is one of the latest relaxations of restrictions.
A new 100 million pound recovery plan to help the NHS recover has been announced by the Welsh Government. We currently have record numbers of patients waiting for hospital treatment after cancellations and delays as exhausted healthcare staff continue to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
The Welsh rspca was called out in Pembrokeshire to check the welfare of a walrus, which we belive is the first signting of this nature in 200 years. The incredible aminal was first seen a week earlyer on some rocks off the coast of Ireland in county kerry, before making its way over to sunny wales.
