April is World Autistic Month. According to the National Autistic Society 700,000 people are on the autistic spectrum in the UK. One of those is Jon McCulloch but instead of seeing it as a barrier, he has the opinion that autism makes him a better businessman. He talked me through what it was like to receive his diagnosis at the age of fifty four...
Frank Coles was also diagnosed as an adult. As a writer and journalist, he has conducted a huge amount of research into autism and he echoes the UN's theme for this year of 'Inclusion in the Workplace' as he says there is plenty of evidence that everyone benefits when work environments are changed to suit autistic people.
