NATIONAL NEWS ROUNDUP: Announcement expected on summer holidays & Hospitality bosses lose court battle
An announcement on how the unlocking of international travel will be able to take place is expected over the coming days. A traffic light system is to be used to determine which destinations are safe.
It comes after a cross-party group of MPs warned the government to discourage people from travelling abroad unless it was essential.
Hospitality bosses have lost a High Court bid to aimed to reopen indoor settings sooner. The legal challenge was brought in response to the roadmap, with the sector explaining that it was safe for customers to return indoors earlier than 17th May. Venues across Wales will also welcome back punters indoors from mid-may.
Mothers of brides and grooms in England and Wales will now be added to marriage certificates for the first time. Previously only fathers of couples were on the document, with the Home Office saying the move would "correct a historic anomaly"
