COME FLY WITH ME: Are you desperate to go abroad this summer?
Are you interested in foreign travel this summer? Or will you be enjoying more time at home even as the coronavirus restrictions are eased?
British tourists will be able to visit Spain without a negative Covid test from next week, if case rates in the UK remain low, according to the country’s tourism minister.
Reports suggest all entry requirements, including proof of a vaccine, will be dropped from 20 May. Restrictions still apply for tourists returning to the UK, with hopes that Spain will be added to the UK’s green travel list when the list is updated on 7 June.
In 2019, more than 18 million Brits visited Spain, making it by far the top destination for UK holidaymakers. So, does the latest news make you more optimistic about travelling abroad this summer? Or do you intend to enjoy what you can in the UK, visiting local beauty spots or spending some time in the garden?
