LATEST RUMOURS: What’s going on in the Transfer Market?
As the season draws to a close, football fans across the country are hoping that their club will dip in to the transfer market this summer.
But what are the latest transfer rumours?
Manchester United have not been shy in their interest of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, who they tried to sign last summer.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic impacting the transfer market, the asking price is set to be significantly lower this summer but United now face competition from the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea.
Reports suggest Sancho could make a £78 million move before Euro 2020, which starts next month.
The Norwegian striker is one of football’s hottest properties at the age of just 20.
Clubs all around Europe have been handed a boost after future Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn ruled the club out of the race to sign Haaland.
Kahn told German newspaper Bild: "A package that costs - as we heard - over €100m is unimaginable for FC Bayern at the moment."
With Bayern out of the picture there still remains a number of clubs involved, with Manchester United, Manchester City, Barcelona and Chelsea all believed to be interested.
During Liverpool’s unfortunate spell of defensive injuries, Brighton’s Ben White was on Jurgen Klopp’s radar.
However, the 23-year-old is now being eyed up by Roma, following the appointment of Jose Mourinho as their new manager.
Jose will have to do battle with one of his former clubs as Arsenal and Manchester United are in the race to sign the centre back who is valued at £45 million.

Leeds’ pursuit of the Udinese captain is no secret, as Marcelo Bielsa was keen to sign him last summer.
Klopp’s side appear to have priced out Leeds and are set to go in with an offer of around £35 million.
