BACK TO THE FLICKS: Sam & Luke talk you through the newest releases

Cinemas are BACK!

Yes, really...

When the UK was plunged into lockdown in March last year, cinemas across the country were forced to close their doors. With the closure of cinemas also came film delays! Now that life seems to slowly be returning to normality, we take a look at some of the films due for release in 2021.

Peter Rabbit 2

“Despite his efforts, Peter can't seem to shake his reputation for mischief among the other rabbits. Once he adventures out of the garden Peter finds himself in a world where mischief is appreciated, but soon his family come to bring him home”.

Black Widow

The MCU’s 24th adventure! Scarlett Johansson returns to her role of Natasha Romanoff after *spoiler* the character’s death in Avengers Endgame. In this film, the Black Widow finds herself alone and forced to confront a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past. Black Widow is scheduled to be released on May 7th. If you can’t wait this long for your Marvel fix, we recommend checking out Wandavision on Disney+.

A Quiet Place: Part II

“Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path”.

No Time to Die

James Bond was one of the first casualties of the pandemic. The film was initially scheduled for release in April 2020 but the producers made the difficult decision to delay Bond's 25th adventure to November. The film was then delayed again to April 2021 and then AGAIN to November. In the film, 007 has left active service but is called back to action following the disappearance of a scientist. No Time to Die is now scheduled for release on September 30th this year.
