THE HEAT IS ON: The locals of Penarth bask in the glorious sunshine
Although the weather has now taken a turn for the wetter and greyer, the hot weather at the beginning of the week saw people flock to some of their favourite seaside spots with temperatures reaching 25 degrees Celsius in parts of the country.
However, this warm and dry weather has not stayed long, with a Met Office weather warning in place from 5pm on Wednesday to 11am on Thursday. The warning will cover a small part of the country with most of the west coast affected including Swansea.
The warning states that some may experience power cuts with flooding and journey delays a possibility as well.
