NEWS ROUNDUP: Three bridges planned over the River Taff
Three new bridges are planned to be built over The River Taff in Cardiff for pedestrians and cyclists. The bridges would be built at the Brains Brewery development just south of the train station, the Vastint development off Dumballs Road, and at Channel View in Grangetown.
A tourism tax which will charge people to visit Wales would benefit the economy according to the first minister mark Drakeford. With Mr Drakeford telling the Welsh parliament that the idea had taken root in UK cities such as Bath, Liverpool and Aberdeen.
An otter has been returned to the wild following a run-in with an electric fence in Carmarthenshire. RSPCA Cymru took the otter into their care - and fortunately, despite his ordeal, found no injuries. The otter was slightly underweight and hungry - so spent some time in care before being safely returned back to the wild.
